Hi! My name is Koki, and I am the owner of BlackGirl Aesthetics. Also, I am a self-taught illustrator, writer, content producer, a student, but most of all, I am a small-town girl trying to live through the daily grind. 

When I started out in art, I must say, I always felt like my work wasn't good enough, always comparing my work to other artists and I was just so scared that nobody would enjoy my work. Until I came to realise, always comparing my progress to others and the pressures of social media were nothing more than a mirage, and that I could be as great as I believe I can be, with no fear of being laughed at or judged, I kept pushing until I finally got better and better, ultimately perfecting my craft, of course, there is room for more improvement.

However, if you can keep believing in yourself and keep working hard for what you're passionate about, there's no doubt in my mind that you'll be great at what you're doing.
